My name is Deborah, and I am
a first time mom. My daughter was born in September 2001. I was the typical
woman who wanted to have a child, but had no idea what came with the package.
My goal for Babybums.com is to be a site where moms can find things
that truly can make life easier, and fun! I figure moms have the hardest
job in the world, why not have a little help :)
Like many parents out there, they have thought of an idea that could
make parenting a little easier, but never act on it. I had an idea after
embarking on those lovely changing tables they have in public restrooms.
It was Christmas time and my daughter and I went in to the restroom only
to find a boy on the changing table with nothing underneath him. He was
not happy to say it mildly. I'm sure the hard, cold surface was not helping
the situation. Then it was Jaylin's turn. I placed her blanket underneath
her, only to use that same blanket later to wipe her mouth. To this day
I cringe at that thought. This is when the Changing Solution came about.
I wanted to design something that would be comfortable, safe, and hygienic
for babies while being changed.
I believe the Changing Solution fulfills those needs. I'm very proud
of my invention, which has sparked my interest in finding out what other
mothers have come up with. Other products featured at Babybums.com: The
